Chapter Guidelines

As an extension of AIB, our chapters are required to operate according to the guidelines established by the academy's executive leadership. These rules and procedures are available for download using the links below.

  • General Guidelines for Chapter Governance: Provides an overview of all the major requirements for creating and sustaining an AIB chapter, including the selection of a chapter chair, finance, meeting procedures, and reporting.

  • Guidelines for Proposing a New Chapter: Details the information that must be provided when proposing the creation of a new AIB chapter. These proposals must be reviewed and approved by the AIB Executive Board. 

  • Template for Chapter Annual Reports: For fiscal and regulatory purposes, each chapter is required to submit an annual report for review by the AIB Executive Board. This document provides an outline of each mandatory reporting category.
