Bio: Professor Radebaugh is a Professor Emeritus and was the Kay and Yvonne Whitmore Professor and Director of the Whitmore Global Management Center at Brigham Young University. He received his DBA and MBA from Indiana University and his B.S. in Accounting from BYU. He taught at The Pennsylvania State University and was a visiting professor at Escuela de Administración de Negocios para Graduados (ESAN), in Lima, Peru, and at Glasgow University. He served as President of the Brazil Porto Alegre South Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from July 1, 2000 to July 1, 2003.
He is the co-author of several books, including International Business Environments and Operations, Globalization and Business, International Accounting and Multinational Enterprises, and Global Accounting and Control: A Managerial Emphasis. He has published several other monographs and articles on international business and international accounting in journals such as the Journal of Accounting Research, the Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of International Financial Management and Accounting, and the International Journal of Accounting. He is the former Editor of the Journal of International Accounting Research and an Area Editor of the Journal of International Business Studies.
His primary teaching interests were international business and international accounting. He is active in the Academy of International Business and formerly active in the International Association of Accounting Education and Research, the American Accounting Association, and the European Accounting Association. He is past President of the International Accounting Section of the AAA and was Secretary-Treasurer of the AIB. He was active with the local business community as former President of the World Trade Association of Utah and former member of the Utah District Export Council.
In 2007, he was given the Outstanding Service Award for the International Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association. In 1998, he was named the “Outstanding International Educator” of the International Section of the AAA and “International Person of the Year” by the World Trade Association of Utah. He was elected to the Fellows of the Academy of International Business in 1990.
