Overview: The annual meeting of AIB Oceania is renowned for its informal and collegial character. Our 2021 Online Research Symposium and Paper Development Workshop will be hosted by the School of Marketing and International Business, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. This year’s program will include insights from keynote speakers, interactive panel sessions, and research paper presentations. It will also be a great opportunity for online interaction and networking. Registration for the event will be free, but an active AIB membership is required through November 4, 2021.
The event’s theme is “Grand challenges, sustainability and international business”. There will be a panel discussion on the topic of “Enhancing IB research and teaching effectiveness” in addition to parallel paper presentation sessions. These sessions will be accompanied by networking sessions and the AGM for AIB Oceania members, and an asynchronous PDW.
Victoria University of Wellington will kindly sponsor some awards for: 1. The most interesting and innovative research ideas in submissions to the symposium; 2. Ideas that have the potential to benefit wider society and 3. Outstanding individual contributions to the symposium.
