Overview: As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to redefine business paradigms, it has become increasingly important to understand the fusion of technological advancements with international market dynamics. The symbiotic relationship between AI and international business requires a nuanced understanding of AI’s deployment strategies, its impact on sustainability, and the consequential shifts in global economic structures. This conference will provide a platform for intellectual discourse and foster collaborations to explore AI’s implications on international business, including its role in augmenting decision-making, optimizing supply chains, and navigating regulatory frameworks. The conference is expected to generate insightful deliberations and forward-thinking initiatives, charting a trajectory toward a more adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable global economic order.

This year’s conference takes place in St. Louis, Missouri. St. Louis’ central location in the U.S. facilitates connections across the country, offering access to various industries and companies across different states. The conference is hosted by the Boeing Institute of International Business at Saint Louis University. AIB US-Southeast is one of the largest and most active regional divisions of the Academy of International Business’s thirteen worldwide chapters. AIB-SE’s annual conference centers on the presentation of the newest ideas in international business to a global audience of academic scholars and business practitioners. The conference is characterized by a strong professional focus, providing participants with a supportive and collegial platform to discuss and develop their ideas, as well as an opportunity for mentoring authors to enhance their papers for publication. Over the past twelve years, AIB-SE has experienced significant transformation and growth, becoming a reputable academic meeting of choice for around 200 participants from around the globe.
