Overview: In this talk, professors Elizabeth Salamanca and Jorge Alcaraz will discuss the heterogeneous profile of Mexican migrant entrepreneurs living in the US and the unique institutional challenges they face.

About the Speakers:

Elizabeth Salamanca is associate professor of international business at UDLAP (Mexico). Her research focuses on entrepreneurial migration between Mexico and the United States. She is a member of Mexico’s Researchers National System and a non-resident scholar at Rice University’s Baker Institute.

Jorge Alcaraz is professor of international business at UDEM (Mexico). His research interests are in global strategy of enterprises from emerging economies, mainly from Latin America. He is a member of the editorial advisory board of the Review of International Business and Strategy.
