Who is This Event For?

We are delighted to announce a Professional Development Workshop (PDW) hosted by Roger Strange (Editor-in-Chief) and Agnieszka Chidlow (Senior Editor) of International Business Review.

The IBR-PDW is aimed at early career researchers and Ph.D students, and it will provide straightforward advice not only on how to publish in International Business Review but also how to navigate through the review process.

How is This Event Structured?

This PDW will focus on four key issues:

  1. What constitutes a “good” academic paper?
  2. Good practice, and common pitfalls to avoid, when preparing the original submission to IBR.
  3. How to respond to the reviewers’ comments.
  4. How to make effective presentations at academic conferences.

In addition to discussion of these four key issues, there will be ample opportunity to ask questions about any aspect of the publishing process. If time allows, we will also try and offer advice on individual papers.

How Can I Register for this Workshop?

Pre-registration for the IBR-PDW is required by June, 22. All participants are expected to have valid AIB membership and to have registered for the AIB 2021 Conference.
