Fast Facts

  • Workshop Date: Tuesday, 5 July or Wednesday, 6 July
  • Registration Deadline: 31 May 2022 (extended)
  • Workshop Organizer: Christina Sichtmann, University of Vienna and Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH)

Who is This Event For?

This workshop aims to inspire you how you can bring more of these “flow” days into your academic life. It is designed for researchers on all levels who want to reflect their own writing process. It aims to make your academic writing more effective and efficient by getting hands-on with some helpful writing tools.

How is This Event Structured?

The focus is on the process of writing rather than the product (i.e. the research). You will get to know some writing methods that you can easily integrate into your daily academic life. We will do many exercises and writing based on a project that you bring to and work on in the workshop. Each session will be limited to only 20 people, so that maximum interaction is possible.

The workshop will run twice, once on 5 July and again on 6 July to accommodate as many participants as possible.

How Can I Register to Participate?

Those interested in taking part in this event must complete our online registration form by 31 May 2022 (extended). Due to the hands-on nature of the activities and demonstrations, this workshop has a limited capacity. Registrants will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.

Please note: Participants will also need to be registered for the AIB 2022 Annual Meeting with an AIB membership valid through 9 July 2022 in order to take part in this workshop.
