Who is This Event For?

We are delighted to announce a Professional Development Workshop (PDW) hosted by Roger Strange (Editor-in-Chief), Agnieszka Chidlow (Senior Editor), and Thomas Lindner (Senior Editor) of the International Business Review.

The IBR-PDW is aimed primarily at early-career researchers and Ph.D students, and it will provide constructive and straightforward advice not only on how to publish in International Business Review but also how to navigate through the review process.

.

How is This Event Structured?

The PDW will focus on four key issues:

  1. What constitutes a “good” academic paper?
  2. Good practice, and common pitfalls to avoid, when preparing the original submission to IBR.
  3. How to respond to the reviewers’ comments.
  4. How to increase the impact and visibility of your published paper.

In addition to interactive discussion of these four key issues, there will be ample opportunity to ask questions about any aspect of the publishing process.

How Can I Register for this Workshop?

Pre-registration for the IBR-PDW is required by 15 May 2022. All participants are expected to have valid AIB membership and to have registered for the AIB 2021 Conference.
