What is the Best Way to Fly to Louisville?

Air travel to Louisville is availble through the Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF). This airport is just a short, 10-minute taxi ride from The Omni Louisville Hotel, our primary lodging provider and event venue, making this final leg of your journey about as stress-free as possible.

Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are accessible just outside the baggage claim area. Limo and shuttle van services can also be booked in advance—a list of local providers can be found on the National Airport Database. Those who prefer to travel by bus should consult the Transit Authority of River City (TARC) website for a comprehensive overview of schedules and pick-up locations.

For members residing outside of the United States and requiring a visa for entry, we strongly recommend you begin your application as soon as possible since processing times may be lengthy. Members who need an invitation letter to support their visa application or to get travel authorization/funding approval from their university can request a Letter of Invitation via our AIB member login portal.
