Thank you Dr. Arikan for initiating these insights into leading scholars’ lives and experiences. I find it quite helpful to have a face now to the many articles I have read, in this case of Prof. Buckley. Viewing such conversations will help personalize and bring me closer to the authors I read. Highly appreciated and with many thanks.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the interview. A great balance between personal background on Peter Buckley and his thoughts on IB scholarship. Highly recommended.
Congratulations on this excellent initiative! It is truly inspiring to get to know in a more personal way (even virtually) scholars such as Sir P. Buckley. I got inspired after listening to this interview – a story of interest for the wider good, passion, perseverance and not giving up. It is motivating for young scholars to find out how experienced scholars started their career, what kept them going and motivated.
