The AIB thanks our Immediate Past President, Professor Farok Contractor, for his service to our association. Farok has stepped down from the Executive Board, effective 19 November 2022. During his term of leadership, AIB saw the regional expansion of its chapter in South Asia, added to the diversification of its Shared Interest Groups by welcoming the Emerging Markets SIG, and welcomed members back to our first in-person Annual Meeting since 2019.
Farok will continue to serve the AIB in his capacity as a Fellow. His place on the Executive Board will remain open until the his original term expires on July 31.
