Each year, individuals and institutions partner with our association by contributing funds in support of specific AIB initiatives. This may take the form of one-time donations designated to assist a particular AIB project or component. They can also be established as long-term, sustainable gifts such as institutional endowments or grants.

AIB Fellows Endowment Fund
The AIB Fellows Endowment Fund provides long-term financial support for the AIB-CIBER Doctoral Academy, a premier training platform preparing early-career scholars for impactful academic careers in international business. Endowment contributions underwrite doctoral programming, scholarships, and access to world-class mentorship. Fellows and other members may contribute through AIB’s giving channels to sustain and expand this vital initiative.

Jean Boddewyn Endowment
The Jean Boddewyn Endowment was established in honor of the late Jean Boddewyn, a pioneering international business scholar and long-serving leader within AIB. The endowment provides a named fellowship awarded annually to an outstanding participant in the AIB-CIBER Doctoral Academy, recognizing academic excellence, scholarly potential, and commitment to global business research. This dedicated fund ensures sustained support for doctoral excellence in his legacy.
Northeastern University Center for Emerging Markets
Through a sponsorship agreement with the Northeastern University Center for Emerging Markets, AIB receives annual funding to support capacity-building initiatives in Africa and other emerging markets. Administered by AIB in coordination with the Emerging Markets SIG, the program provides membership and conference participation support for faculty and doctoral students from lower-income regions. This partnership strengthens global engagement and expands access to international business scholarship.
Ramamurti Family Fund
Established in 2025 through a generous sponsorship by the Ramamurti Family, this fund supports capacity-building initiatives in emerging markets, including South Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Administered by AIB in coordination with the Emerging Markets SIG and AIB-South Asia, the fund provides membership support, conference participation assistance, and recognition awards for scholars from lower-income countries. This initiative strengthens global access to international business scholarship and fosters deeper engagement across emerging regions.
Sheth Foundation
The Sheth Foundation provides grant-based support to AIB for targeted initiatives that advance international marketing scholarship and doctoral education. Funding supports Doctoral Academy fellowships, emerging scholar research grants in India, conference fellowships, and recognition awards. This partnership strengthens global research capacity and supports early-career scholars across regions.
