Following a rigorous review by Elsevier’s official Content Selection and Advisory Board, AIB’s Journal of International Business Policy has been accepted for inclusion in the Scopus index. In only its fourth year of publication, this development marks a major milestone for JIBP, recognizing not only its high standards of academic quality, but also its relevance and accessibility to a global, scholarly audience.
The Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB) follows a meticulous process in evaluating journals’ suitability for the Scopus index, employing both quantitative and qualitative measures across five key categories. According to the latest statistics provided by Elsevier, “Every year, approximately 3,500 new titles are suggested for inclusion in Scopus, but only 33% of those titles meet the technical criteria. And of those roughly 1,200 titles, only 50% are accepted after CSAB review.”
Please join us in congratulating the entire JIBP team, particularly Editor-in-Chief Sarianna Lundan and Deputy Editor Ari Van Assche, whose tireless efforts have elevated the journal’s academic profile so greatly in such a short time. We look forward to seeing how JIBP will continue to evolve and grow in the years to come.
