About Our Students and Educators
The first cohort of the AIB-CIBER Doctoral Academy is a truly global group: talented PhD researchers have joined the program from the USA, United Kingdom, South Africa, Italy, Malaysia, and Switzerland and represent Cardiff University, Georgia State University, Liberty University, Michigan State University, Temple University, Texas Tech University, University of Alabama, University of Leeds, University of Malaya, University of North Alabama, University of Pavia, University of Pretoria, and University of St. Gallen.
In the first courses beginning this November, students will meet distinguished international business professors, such as Peter Buckley, Tamer Cavusgil, Andrew Delios, Rebecca Piekkari, Sjoerd Beugelsdijk, and many more. Following the Academy’s kick-off event and throughout the duration of the program, students will have a chance to network with various AIB scholars and build strong ties within the international business community.

It provides outstanding training through in-person and online modules and workshops instructed by world-class experts. This Certificate program aims to build a foundation of international business knowledge and connect participants to the type of solid scholarly network required for a successful international academic career. In addition to formal training in IB, participants connect with like-minded doctoral students, attend the premier global conference for IB academics, and work closely with a variety of potential colleagues and collaborators.
