Bernice Davenport: Components Coordinator

AIB is happy to welcome Bernice Davenport, as our association’s first dedicated Components Coordinator.

Bernice is a committed Higher Education professional who comes to AIB with over 25 years of experience in Higher Education Administration. Her previous experiences include serving as the administrator for a Career and Professional Development Office, Accreditation Department, and an Internal Medicine Residency Program. Bernice has a passion for working with students and faculty members and her background in data analysis, project management, programing, strategic planning, and budget oversight are examples of the skills she will bring to the Components Coordinator position. Bernice looks forward to working with the Chapters and SIG’s in the coming months to enhance and further support the needs and goals of the AIB Chapters and SIG’s.

In addition to a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Administration from Western Michigan University, Bernice also has two DEI certifications which include Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business and Inclusive Leadership: The Power of Workplace Diversity from the University of Colorado.
