AIB Central & Eastern Europe's 2023 Chapter Conference will take place immediately prior to the main AIB Annual Meeting in Warsaw, Poland. This year's programming will highlight the theme "International Business from 'East' to 'West': Global Risks and Opportunities".
The AIB Central & Eastern Europe Chapter (AIB-CEE) invites you to join this webinar to stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and the surrounding region, and to initiate a debate on the geopolitical consequences of the war in Ukraine for the region of CEE and IB in general.
The mission of AIB-CEE is to encourage scholars and specialists in the field of international business residing in our region to present and discuss research outcomes, as well as to improve their teaching techniques. We aim to accomplish this by fostering academic cooperation in the region in the form of conferences, workshops, seminars, and cross-border research projects.
The first AIB-CEE chapter annual conference in post pandemic reality will take place online and will gather experts from the region and beyond to exchange insights and present research results in the field of international business. Key focus will be given to evaluation of trends and responses in international business in times of turbulence and VUCA conditions, but also about the need to re-think research and teaching in the CEE to be better suited for a post-pandemic world.
The overarching purpose of AIB-CEE is to foster the cooperation amongst scholars and specialists from Central and Eastern Europe in regard to conducting joint research, disseminating research outcomes and improving international business education standards.
